Lilac Gown

Getting all dressed up has always been one of my favorite things to do! As much as I love a good comfy, casual outfit, I get SO excited when I get to wear long dresses. I wanted to share this gown today for those of you who have formal events this spring, such as a wedding or prom!

I found this dress at Nordstrom and fell in LOVE. The color, the fit, the ruffle- it’s one of my favorite dresses I’ve ever worn 😍. This dress does run true to size. The smallest size Nordstrom had in stock was a 4 so I assumed sizing might run small, but that was not the case! The 4 was a little big on my so I think my normal size would have fit perfectly (but nothing a little bit of alterations can’t fix!) I paired the dress with my all time favorite Sam Edelman heels. Y’all, I cannot say enough great things about these shoes! I just bought my second pair because I wore the crap out of my first pair. You can dance the night away and your feet won’t hurt at all 🙌🏻!
