Y’all, we are already a week into December, how crazy is that?! The holiday parties have already begun, which means lots of red lips! I wanted to share my favorite products with y’all to achieve the perfect red lip.
This first thing I use is this Prep & Prime from MAC. I absolutely love matte reds, but they do tend to dry out my lips. The Prep & Prime helps my lips stay moisturized all day!
The next step is SO important when wearing red lipstick- apply liner!! When reds bleed, it is so obvious (and let’s be real, we’ve all seen someone who’s red lipstick has tragically smeared all over the place). Lining your lips will help the lipstick stay in place and look nice and smooth!
My last tip for y’all is to apply your lipstick with a brush. I find it so much easier to control where the color is going when I’m using a brush, versus using the whole stick on your lips!
